Our CAB works alongside many other organisations to ensure that we provide the best possible service to the local community and help people as much as possible. As a charity, we are also reliant on funding from various partners to allow us to operate, and our partners allow us to provide specialist advice in areas where people are most in need.
Here are some of our main partners:
Citizens Advice Scotland
We are supported by Citizens Advice Scotland, the umbrella organisation for all Citizens Advice Bureaux run in Scotland. CAS also fund the PASS project.
We are supported and funded by Highland Council, who also help fund our Midwifery project.
We are supported by NHS Highland, who also fund our Mind-Full project and Midwifery project.
Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO)
We are a member of the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations, who also help fund our services.
Scottish Legal Aid Board
We are supported by the Scottish Legal Aid Board, who also fund our North Highland Housing and Homelessness Project.
Scottish National Standards
We are accredited by the Scottish Government’s Scottish National Standards for Information and Advice Providers programme. This means that we have been externally audited by a contractor on behalf of the Government’s Information and Advice Standards unit and found to have demonstrated an efficient, effective and high quality service.
